Splash Pads

SPAR  will open its seven splash pads on May 1st. They will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and water shoes are recommended. They are located at A.B. Palmer, Airport Park, David Raines, Hattie Perry, Lakeside and Querbes Community Centers, as well as the "Purple Park" at A.C. Steere. They have become a very popular attraction, especially for kids in the summertime, offering a break from the sweltering Louisiana heat. The cool spray of the water lowers the body temperature and gives the kiddos a fun activity to do all summer long! The Spray Parks are open from May 1st to Oct. 1st.

The Downtown Sprayground across from Sci-Port is open from 6 a.m. - 2 a.m. Tuesday - Sunday.

2025 POOL SCHEDULE

Southern Hills pool will open on Memorial Day (May 26th) from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Airport Park, Bill Cockrell, David Raines, and Querbes pools will open Tuesday, May 27th  from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. 

Pools will close for the season Sunday, August 3rd -- EXCEPT Southern Hills -- it will remain open on weekends through Labor Day.


POOL HOURS

Monday - CLOSED*

Tuesday-Friday:  1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturday - Sunday:  1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

*Southern Hills will be open Memorial Day, Labor Day and July 4th from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.


COST TO SWIM

$2.50/per person for all ages to swim

Southern Hills Pool Cost To Swim and Slide: $3.50/per person
