On April 2, 2011, Shreveport voters approved three general obligation bond propositions to provide funding for improvements to our city. Proposition 2 included over $26 million for public assembly and recreation facilities. The first sale of bonds in the summer of 2011 provided $12,380,000 for 18 SPAR projects, some fully funded and some funded for design only.
